Two runs score on a sac fly, a breakdown
What Happened
In an exciting moment on the baseball diamond, the teams are locked in a close contest. The score is tight, the stakes are high and the fans are on the edge of their seats. In the bottom of the ninth inning, the home team is trailing by one run. Aaron Judge, the star slugger of the New York Yankees, steps up to the plate with the game on the line. The tension is palpable as the crowd erupts in cheers, willing their team to a comeback victory. Judge works the count, fouling off several tough pitches. "He's just cracking me up," an announcer observes, captivated by Judge's expressive body language and antics in the batter's box. Finally, Judge draws a walk, loading the bases for the next hitter. The next batter lifts a high fly ball to left field. The left fielder and center fielder both converge on the ball, but the center fielder makes a remarkable catch. "Who's going to catch it? Who caught it?" the announcer exclaims, surprised by the unlikely play. With the bases loaded and less than two outs, both runners on second and third tag up after the catch. The runner from second, Gleyber Torres, rounds third and sprints home, scoring the tying run without a throw. The crowd erupts in cheers, sensing a potential comeback. However, the opposing team immediately appeals the play, questioning whether the runner from first base, Anthony Rizzo, left the base too early. The umpires confer and review the play, ultimately ruling that both runners are safe. "They're appealing both, okay," the announcer says, trying to make sense of the unfolding drama. "If you have no idea what any of this is because you clicked the video, that's wild," the announcer quips, acknowledging the confusion that may arise for viewers unfamiliar with the nuances of the game. In the end, the two runs score on the sacrifice fly, tying the game in a stunning turn of events. "It's the eighth time in KBO history that two runs have scored on a sac fly," the announcer notes, underscoring the rarity and significance of the play. As the teams reset and prepare for the next inning, the fans erupt in cheers, reveling in the thrilling comeback and the captivating baseball action that has unfolded before their eyes.

Click timestamps to jump to that momentI started this breakdown because two
runs scoring a Sac fly but then I was
entranced by this batter on the Eagles
the most expressive batter I've seen
it's like what Soto thinks he does you
know you always think you're doing more
than you actually doing this guy's doing
more that was a strike and he's
shuffling oh okay my bad guess
that's a strike the 2-1 check swing did
he swing did he swing no pitcher's like
what
oh
foul ball and look how he ran out of the
box on the foul ball he's just cracking
me up tongue out smiling next pitch
another foul ball he's gonna bat it away
with his Bat next pitch another foul
ball look at all that oh
wanted to swing it like that next pitch
another foul ball and that's a fun one I
mean
bam bam that looks like Steve Smith the
cricket player on his leaves like just
doing a lot of stuff boom one-handed
practice swing working that bat oh Ball
Four fist pump gets the walk Bases
Loaded plays it cool
I don't know about all that anyway the
next batter he hits this ball in the air
left fielder and center fielder are
going for it who's going to catch it who
caught it where is it that guy caught it
no way wouldn't have guessed him would
have guessed the other guy both Runners
tag up the runner from second turns the
corner scores without a throw because it
got cut off and
the other team they're gonna appeal it
they're gonna be like one of those guys
had to leave early because they didn't
know who caught it so they appeal it to
the Umpire say we think he left early
are you appealing third and then they
threw the second like oh you're
appealing second two okay both of them
okay
um well they're appealing both okay
second you got is he safe at second do
you have a call all right it looks like
we're gonna just review this because
nobody knows what's going on so they put
on the headsets look at the TV and they
check and the ball's caught and then he
takes off so at third base he's good if
you have no idea what
any of this is because you click the
video that's wild you clicked it thank
you for being so curious and open but
you have to you can't leave the base
until he's caught it that's the rule and
that second he checked too
so they're both good so yeah it's the
eighth time in kbo history that two runs
have scored on a sack fly and the catch
is crazy that guy missed in the center
fielder perfect backup look what I found
and then he gets it in like as quick as
he can but it's just not an amazing
throw because
he's on his backside
I like that first batter very expressive
