Thailand beats Korea in kick volleyball (Sepak Takraw,) a breakdown

Thailand took down Korea 21–14 in the final game of a wild kick volleyball match, also known as Sepak Takraw. The game is played like an acrobatic version of volleyball, but players can’t use their hands. Just feet, knees, chest, and head. It’s fast, technical, and filled with flying kicks that look impossible to pull off without breaking something. Thailand won the first set and dominated most of the second. Korea tried to close the gap, but errors on both sides helped Thailand stay ahead.

One rally stood out near the end when a Thai player went up to block, missed, landed, and instantly got back up to spike the ball for the point. The athleticism was off the charts. On match point, Korea served, Thailand executed a clean setup, and after a failed block attempt from Korea, it was over. Thailand sealed their eighth straight win against Korea in the sport. The highlight clips made it obvious: these players move and land like they’re weightless. It’s not a game many people can even imagine trying, let alone playing at that level.
