Raiders and Dolphins swap leads multiple times in last 4 minutes, a breakdown
What Happened
The game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Miami Dolphins is a thriller, with the lead changing hands multiple times in the final four minutes. With the score tied at 16-16, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leads his team down the field and kicker Jason Sanders kicks a field goal to make it 19-16 Dolphins. On the next drive, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr dances out of the pocket, pumps and then throws a deep ball downfield. The receiver makes the catch and a Dolphins defender falls, allowing the receiver to score a touchdown. The Raiders take a 22-19 lead, but miss the extra point. Undeterred, Tagovailoa leads the Dolphins right back down the field. He connects with wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who takes the short pass 88 yards for a touchdown, putting the Dolphins back on top 23-22. Carr and the Raiders offense take the field again and Carr throws a deep ball that draws a pass interference penalty, setting up the Raiders in field goal range. They convert and Las Vegas regains the lead at 25-23 with just 16 seconds remaining. However, Tagovailoa and the Dolphins refuse to go away. On the final drive, Tagovailoa throws a deep ball downfield and the Dolphins receiver makes a contested catch, getting them in field goal range. "Fitzmagic" - as Dolphins head coach Brian Flores calls him - then calmly steps up and kicks the game-winning field goal as time expires, giving the Dolphins a thrilling 26-25 victory. Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is left shaking his head on the sideline, stunned by the back-and-forth nature of the final minutes. "I mean, this was 16 to 13 like 30 seconds ago and now we got a 22-22 game and now we've got a 23-22 game," Gruden says. "But the Raiders are back at it again, Carr has the ball going deep early in the drive, gets the PI call there which puts them right in field goal range to take the lead again." In the end, it's Tagovailoa and the resilient Dolphins who come out on top, stunning the Raiders in a game that will surely be remembered as one of the most exciting finishes of the NFL season.

on the next drive dances out of the
pocket after the pump fake rolls

receiver who catches it
defender just falls then he's going to
take this dude for a little spinny ride
into the end zone raiders take the lead
pretty cool play you can see number 15.
he's just going in the middle there car
was the pump fake
sees him they both rolled together carr
saw
that he was going to throw to him looked
off let that receiver know just run
downfield baby
and we got it i don't think they knew he
was going to score a touchdown
but they knew hey why not just throw it
up let the receiver do his thing turns
out his thing
was a really good thing derek carr
screaming he's yelling
let's go oh no raiders miss
the extra point will that come back to
hurt him fits
patrick back in the huddle smiling
cheesing

teammates and saying

be ready to go why because fitzpatrick
if it's magic he's got five receivers
he's got first and ten there's three
minutes left he's gonna throw that out

where his eyes were
when he released this ball that was
pretty dumb huh
i couldn't do it maybe i could maybe i
should stop doubting myself you know
maybe we should all start
start maybe we should all start to stop
doubting ourselves well gruden he's
a lot of doubt head full of doubt road
full of promise head full of doubt
the kick to win the game
is good and the raiders
they scored two touchdowns pretty quick
and gruden's like wait what
none of that was supposed to happen if
it's patrick is hugging his dude
derek carr sat on the sidelines and his
dude comes up behind him and says
it'll all be all right it goes good will
hunting on him it's not your fault
