My Tuesday (September 6th, 2022), a breakdown

The day started early for Jimmy, thanks to a sick kid and little sleep. He was up before 5 a.m., handled some chores, and headed into Manhattan to start a packed day at the office. He worked on a new breakdown video featuring Joey Gallo and Yu Darvish, then prepped and filmed segments for Weekly Dumb with his team. Office chatter included a random Chris Pine conversation, a FaceTime check-in with his son, and a tight schedule of meetings and content recording. He bounced between studios for various shows including Talking Yanks, where postseason roster options like IKF and Oswaldo Cabrera were on the table.

Throughout the day, he checked in with editors on projects like mini golf videos, Jolly stats, and a cricket series. There were quiet moments too—boxing out coworkers in the kitchen, joking with the team, and grabbing a decent chicken sandwich. He wrapped up at the office around 5:30 p.m. in pouring rain, caught a train home while watching Ken Burns and editing another MLS breakdown. After picking up his car at his sister’s, he spent some time with his niece and nephews before heading home.

Back home, he gave his son a bottle and enjoyed the rare moment of him falling asleep in his arms. Dinner followed with his wife Katie, and they watched Bluey together. After a little bonding time with the dogs, Jimmy got back to work, polishing up the cricket and soccer videos late into the night. He finally called it a day around 10:15 p.m., walking the dog and heading to bed after a full Tuesday stacked with parenting, content, and sports.
