What Happened
In a highly anticipated matchup at American Family Field, the Milwaukee Brewers are hosting a special sausage race for fans in attendance. Meanwhile, the race continues, with Jake and Trevor neck-and-neck. Corbin Burns takes matters into his own hands, dousing Jake with two cups of water as he runs by. Trevor reaches out, trying to tag the young chorizo mascot, but can't find him. In the end, the young hot dog mascot sprints across the finish line to claim victory. Robbie, still in pain, manages to limp to the finish line, raising his hand in a sad, pained gesture. to run in the sausage race and here is
my strategy going into it
i just don't want to come in a distant
fourth or fifth
i just want to be part of the pack
robbie that's all i don't need first
jake's faster than me i think trev is
definitely faster than me
i just want to be part of the pack
that's my goal
okay just don't want to embarrass myself
crazily just want to be part of the pack
finish the race strong there's bratwurst
that's not me
that's our friend jack i believe that
was bbd the polish sausage saying what's
up there's jake italian sausage getting
the crowd ready to see glorious hot dog
running there's me booing chorizo trevor

stud and what does the former mlb stud
do he cheats off the line just look at
the head start he gets not waiting for
the signal at all he's off how would we
ever make up that ground would be
impressive if we did right well we're
off and the stadium's going crazy and
three and four me and jake were catching
trap we're catching them on the turn
gonna need some big steps just look at
the distance between four and five and
then we'll move on real quick because
don't wanna you know we'll just move on
uh-oh bam hot dog down now here's what
happens
jake and me are neck and neck around the
turn and i'm like i got to be neck and
neck out of this turn if he beats me on
the turn i'm done so you can see me put
my hand out like hey slow down and you
see this left leg extend just a bit too
far you see my knee go all just straight
oh man's almost bent backwards right
there and the hamstring blows out and
i'm down for the count down hard i mean
i fell so hard i was ready for it
because i couldn't use my left leg here
and i right here i'd bow out on the left
leg and i just hockey check the ground
move the earth a little bit
thud everywhere bad time this girl
amanda she was very nice so she's like
oh no now i'm just rolling around on the
ground i get up the first thing i see is
christian yell it's just staring at me
and laughing i don't know if he could
see through the costume into my eyes but
that's how it felt and then i'm hobbling
i'm hobbling i can't really run and
corbin burns is looking at me like what
the hell happened dude the echo there
was a good echo in the dugout from when
your face hits i saw you and then i saw
burns just looking at me like
i think bernie wanted to throw water
yeah and then he was like he was like oh
no he's hurt
i thought i thought concussion i didn't
know i didn't know blown hammy so yeah
luckily for me i did not get the water
to my face as i hobbled to the finish
line unfortunately for trevor my
mascot's head did clip his heel here
he's gonna say that this hurt him in the
race moving forward he said it took his
shoe off it did not take his shoe off i
don't know what you're saying there trev
and then you can see corbin burns coming
up as jake and trevor neck and neck here
jake made up all that ground that trev
got by cheating off the line and now you
get corbin burns double cupping it right
into jake's face just making him weather
the elements a little bit two cups
perfect shot by burnsie look at this
stream of water bam right at jake and
trev is reaching out because he's got to
tag his little kid the little chorizo
but he's on the wrong side of the track
so treb's trying to find a little kid
can't find him waving to him just go
just go meanwhile sausage wins the race
the adult portion of the race jake made
up all that ground little hot dog takes
off for adult chorizo that was my kid he
saw me fall said f this i just gotta run
so he takes off for chorizo he's booking
it hot dog's gonna be the scoreboard
winner
which is like a really good move by this
kid
no one tell him that he cheated he's a
winner
hot dog on the jumbotron now amanda's
telling me i gotta keep running i gotta
keep running and i'm trying to tell them
i'm really hurt my left leg doesn't want
to move at all i heard a huge pop and i
think i pulled my hamstring and this is
bad and they're saying no you just got
to keep running so you can get some real
sad walks and everyone's like look
they're helping you and i'm like they
weren't helping me they were just
telling me i had to keep limping on
hurt and i'm thinking as soon as i get
to the tunnel i can just plop down and
i'm good but i have a whole bunch of
little kids waiting to take a picture so
now you can see me not putting any
weight in my left leg just trying to
stand and get this over with as i cry
inside my giant hot dog sausage costume
and i'll throw up the number one sure i
don't deserve it and then there i am
dead hurt
asking for ice and maybe a
down the trainer and we have a white
boat for the hot dog and we have a white
boat for the hot dog
