Back-to-back homers to take the lead in World Series game, a breakdown
What Happened
In a crucial Game 4 of the World Series, the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros are locked in a tight battle. The Astros hold a 2-1 lead over the Braves in the series and a 2-1 advantage in the current game as they enter the bottom of the seventh inning. Dansby Swanson, the Braves' shortstop, steps up to the plate against Astros pitcher Javier. Swanson falls behind 0-2 in the count as Javier throws him a series of sliders. Sensing Swanson is struggling with the off-speed pitch, the Astros continue to challenge him with the slider. However, on the 0-2 pitch, Javier decides to go with a fastball in the zone, and Swanson powers it over the right field wall to tie the game. Swanson celebrates the game-tying home run with a fist pump and a "Breakfast Club" salute. The next batter for the Braves is Ozzie Albies, and he also takes Javier deep, launching a solo shot over the left field fence. The back-to-back home runs have given the Braves a 3-2 lead, sending the dugout and the crowd into a frenzy. Albies runs down the dugout, high-fiving and chest-bumping his teammates, while the police officers nearby also get in on the celebration. The Braves' ninth-place hitter, Guillermo Heredia, steps up as a pinch hitter and swings aggressively at a slider from Javier, missing the pitch. Javier goes back to the slider, but this time Heredia is able to deposit it over the short wall in left field, giving the Braves a 4-2 advantage. Dansby Swanson's face is described as looking like "Daniel Day-Lewis in a civil war movie where like he just watched his son get brutally murdered or something," as he screams and celebrates the Braves' clutch performance. The back-to-back-to-back home runs by the Braves' eight and nine hitters are a historic first in World Series history, and the team is now just one win away from capturing the championship.

we're in the bottom of the seventh
inning Dansby Swanson's up Javier's on
the mound he's gonna open them up with a
slider and get an ugly swing out of
danzi then another slider gets a big
hack out of Dansby he's gonna triple up
on the slider dansby's gonna foul it off
still swinging big so naturally thinking
hey it's O2 he's swinging at that pitch
why don't you just throw it outside in
the dirt see if he'll continue to chase
it that's what I think when I watch this
but the Astros Maldonado had been
pitching backwards all game with granky
and this is turdarno they go off speed
for strike one they go breaking ball for
strike two and then they go fastball in
the zone to freeze him and then darno's
up again they go breaking ball strike

this with Freddie with Ozzy they were
doing it a lot they were setting guys up
off speed and then going fastball in the
zone try and freeze them so what do they
go here
they go fastball in the zone and Dansby
Powers it over the right field wall just
enough to tie the game nice little
Breakfast Club salute simple master
gives it back to him with a fist pump
now they're going crazy [ __ ] God
oh now it's gonna get wild now I don't
know what that is I don't know if this
is by Design or if they missed Dansby
goes way he's full extension and jock
still got his fist by his Peck I don't
know what they're doing I don't know if
it's by Design I don't know what's going
on there but this is much more in uh
synchronized right there bam got him we
go down the steps we're gonna get a ton
of butt slaps just everyone but slapping
down the line pumped up we're dancing

back homers in the World Series thank
