In his latest outing, Flaherty goes 8 innings, giving up only 1 hit and 0 earned runs. Teammate Tommy Edman makes a fantastic play at third base, diving to his knees to rob the opposing hitter. Meanwhile, Max Fried, the 25-year-old left-hander for the Atlanta Braves, is also dominating on the mound. In his team's last nine games with Fried starting, the Braves are a perfect 9-0. In this particular game, Fried goes 7 strong innings, allowing just 1 hit and 0 earned runs. He mixes his mid-90s fastball with a devastating 75 mph curveball that leaves Nationals star Juan Soto flailing.
