Tacko Fall (7’5) hits a three and his teammates go crazy, a breakdown

Tacko Fall checked in during garbage time for the Celtics and immediately made it entertaining. At 7-foot-5, he barely had to leave the ground to throw down an alley-oop. His toe was still on the floor while his hands were at the rim. He grabbed a couple of boards, dished it out, and blocked a shot before things got wild. Then he spotted up at the top of the arc, caught the pass, let it fly, and banked in his first career three-pointer. The bench lost it. Players jumped, tangled up, and celebrated like a manager hit a shot on senior night.

On the next possession, Tacko faked like he might go for another three, then casually walked to the hoop and dunked without jumping. The crowd and the bench were loving it. He added a layup shortly after just to show he had that in his bag too. It was a reminder that while the reactions were over the top, Tacko is a pro who can make plays. By the end of the night, he had rebounds, a block, a three, a dunk, and a layup. The highlight was fun, but behind the show, Tacko quietly did a bit of everything.
