Things spiraled fast during a minor league game after a series of called balls rubbed the catcher and coaching staff the wrong way. The catcher kept trying to frame pitches for strikes, but the ump wasn’t buying it. After a 3-1 pitch missed, the walk led to a mound visit, which seemed more like a planned protest. The ump eventually came out to break it up, and words were exchanged. The manager and catcher both got tossed after pressing the ump on the strike zone.
Later in the inning, confusion hit again when a swing-and-miss was mistaken for a foul ball, causing a runner to advance to third. The coach came out hot, challenged the call, and ended up getting ejected too. Things heated up even more when the umpire enforced a pitch clock violation. The batter was slow to get set, the pitcher was ready, and the runner on third took off and scored while everyone else seemed unsure of what just happened.
The final blow came when the ball boy, frustrated and trying to help, brought out new balls and slammed them into the umpire’s face mask. The ump wasn’t having any of it and ejected the ball boy too. What started as a few questionable calls snowballed into multiple ejections and chaos on the field, capping it all off with one of the rarest sights in baseball – a ball boy getting tossed from the game.
