Umpire gets taken down in a three-way collision, a breakdown

In the bottom of the 13th inning between the Rockies and Brewers, things got sloppy. With fatigue setting in, the Brewers walked the leadoff batter, which quickly backfired. Rockies batter Yonathan Daza laid down a tight bunt down the third-base line. The catcher rushed in, fielded it cleanly, then turned and fired to first. The problem was, there was no one covering. The first baseman had charged in. The second baseman tried to cover but collided with the umpire along the basepath. The ump went down hard, taking the base runner with him.

Despite the chaos, the base runner managed to avoid seriously crushing the umpire. The ump, older and clearly shaken, ended up bleeding from his elbow after hitting the dirt. At first, he insisted he was fine, but the blood said otherwise. Trainers came out, patched him up, and the game continued. It was a mess of a play, but nothing too serious came of it, aside from some bruised pride and a scraped-up official.
